Women's Product Designer – Luxury Accessories

About the role

TUMI is seeking a creative Women's Designer to shape trend‑right, elevated products for our luxury travel and lifestyle customers. You will take concepts from initial research through to commercialization, working closely with design leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Research global markets, consumer insights, materials, silhouettes and emerging trends to inform seasonal direction.
• Develop concept boards, mood boards and inspiration decks that communicate color stories, materials and design ideas.
• Create hand sketches, CAD drawings and design iterations for handbags, small leather goods and accessories.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and design packages, ensuring accuracy throughout development.
• Review and approve confirmation and pre‑production samples in partnership with Product Development.
• Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for internal design reviews and cross‑functional meetings.
• Support the commercialization process, tracking changes and maintaining design integrity through final production.

Required profile

• Strong eye for fashion trends and luxury product aesthetics.
• Ability to translate research into compelling design concepts.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas to leadership and partners.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on technical accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for product design.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating presentation materials.
