Women's Product Designer

About the role

TUMI is seeking a creative Women's Designer to shape trend‑right, elevated products for our global customer base. You will take concepts from initial research through to commercialization, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s luxury performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Research global and competitive markets, consumer insights, materials, silhouettes, and emerging trends to inform seasonal design direction.
• Develop and present compelling design concepts, mood boards, and color stories aligned with brand strategy.
• Create hand sketches, CAD drawings, and detailed technical packages for handbags, small leather goods, and accessories.
• Maintain and update product specifications throughout development, managing changes and ensuring accuracy.
• Review and approve confirmation and pre‑production samples in partnership with Product Development.
• Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for internal design reviews and cross‑functional meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production to support successful execution.

Required profile

• Strong eye for fashion trends and luxury accessories.
• Ability to translate concepts into detailed technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for product design.
• Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
