Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)

About the role

Advantia Health’s Ob‑Gyn Associates are seeking a dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care across the prenatal and postpartum continuum, as well as acute and chronic women's health needs.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses and prescribe necessary medications.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and minor surgical procedures.
• Facilitate referrals, coordinate care with collaborating physicians, and manage health assessments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide counseling and education on health maintenance.

Required profile

• Master of Science with an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (Maryland preferred) and as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in women’s health, including ante‑, intra‑, and postpartum care.

Required skills

• Prescribing medications and treatments.
• Performing minor surgical procedures and emergency life‑saving interventions.
