Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)

About the role

Advantia Health’s Physicians & Midwives collaborative practice is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. The position is a five‑day office role (Tuesday‑Saturday) supporting patients across ante‑partum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses and prescribe necessary medications.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop patient management policies.
• Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with collaborating physicians and specialists.

Required profile

• Master of Science with an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse.
• 3+ years of NP experience preferred; licensure in MD, VA, and DC preferred.

Required skills

• BLS certification.
• DEA and CDS eligibility.
