Wireless Systems Technical Support Engineer

About the role

INTRACOM TELECOM is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide expert assistance for its packet microwave and millimeter‑wave radio systems used in 3G/4G/5G front‑haul, mobile backhaul, and fixed wireless broadband. The role is based in the United States (Texas or Florida) and involves both remote troubleshooting and on‑site implementation across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for wireless systems, handling customer inquiries and troubleshooting 4G/LTE, 5G, and related network protocols.
• Travel to customer sites to supervise trial installations, train engineers, and ensure proper operation of wireless solutions.
• Maintain computer systems and hardware, providing IT and desktop support to guarantee performance and security.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve service quality.
• Document activities and generate reports using Microsoft Office and SQL.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in technical support or field engineering for RF or microwave systems.
• U.S. work authorization and residency.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States.
