Windows/Linux OS Administrator

About the role

The Windows/Linux OS Administrator will manage the end‑to‑end administration of a cloud and virtual server estate that supports critical database platforms. The role emphasizes stable operations, security compliance, automation, and lifecycle management across both Windows and Linux environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) systems at enterprise scale.
• Manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including virtual servers, to ensure high availability for database platforms.
• Implement automation and scripting to streamline OS lifecycle tasks.
• Monitor and enforce security compliance and stability across the server estate.
• Coordinate with other teams to support performance and capacity planning for over 1,000 servers.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of hands‑on OS administration experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Proven experience in enterprise‑scale infrastructures (1,000+ servers preferred).
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure setups.

Required skills

• Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 administration.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and CentOS administration.
• General OS administration and lifecycle management.
• Cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
