Wet Room Operator

About the role

The Wet Room Operator will work at 3M’s Newark, DE plant, supporting chemical manufacturing processes in a wet‑room environment. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to safe, efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate wet‑room equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
• Handle material using forklifts, hoists, or other equipment.
• Monitor production metrics and ensure product quality.
• Work shifts and overtime as required to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of production experience.
• Ability to work off‑shifts and overtime.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Hoist or other material‑handling equipment operation.
• Basic computer application proficiency and ability to learn plant‑specific software.
