Weekday Preschool/Daycare Multi-Sport Coach (Part-Time)

About the role

Amazing Athletes JumpBunch of Southern CT is looking for a part-time Youth Sports Coach to teach toddlers and preschoolers the basics of several sports in a fun, non-competitive setting. Classes are mostly in the mornings and early afternoons, so the schedule is flexible and allows a balanced work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Teach children aged 18 months to 6 years the fundamentals of various sports
• Encourage healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes
• Work primarily in the morning and early afternoon on a set schedule, with some flexibility on which days of the week
• Maintain a positive relationship with parents, teachers and staff at the daycare/preschool locations

Required profile

• Reliable and able to work a set schedule; professional experience with toddlers and preschoolers is preferred but not mandatory
• A positive attitude and a love of sports and teaching young children
• At least 18 years old with a clean criminal background check
• Reliable transportation, as coaches travel between locations (upwards of 30 minutes); long-distance travel is reimbursed
• CPR certification is a plus, though not required

What we offer

• Part-time position with training pay of $17 and fully trained pay of $21
• Staff are entitled to at least 1.5 hours of minimum pay each time they work
