Web Software Developer (UI)

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Web Software Developer (UI) for a new position awarded by the prime. The schedule is 5 days, 8 hours per day. The role covers coding, interface implementation, application architecture and software testing.

Key responsibilities

• Code using the latest versions of Angular 20+, Node.js, NPM, RxJS, Bootstrap and Material (desirable)
• Implement interfaces to applications, with familiarity with HTTP and RESTful communication and Swagger
• Support the site concept, interface design and application architecture
• Participate in designing reusable software tools and subsystems, and use Claude or similar AI interfaces
• Test, fix and refine software, including Playwright testing and Angular unit tests
• Improve software efficiency and integrity between systems and applications

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, technology or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Web Software Developer
• Security clearance: TS/SCI (ability and willingness to take a poly); an active TS is required to apply
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
