Web Development Quality Control Engineer

About the role

CACI is looking for a Web Development Tester (Quality Control Engineer) to deliver high-quality, mission-critical web applications. You will work closely with Agile teams to make sure the software supporting customers is reliable, intuitive, secure and able to perform in real-world mission environments. The position is full time, based in Chantilly, with no travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, run and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API and UI/UX testing
• Review user stories and requirements to define testable acceptance criteria
• Document defects, track resolution and validate fixes
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement and daily stand-ups
• Support CI/CD by helping integrate automated tests
• Check applications for security, compliance and accessibility (e.g. STIG, Section 508/WCAG)
• Write test documentation, reports and metrics, and give feedback to improve product quality

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience testing web applications in Agile or DevSecOps environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web architecture basics
• Automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
• API testing with Postman, Swagger or RESTful services
• Desired: Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, JMeter, LoadRunner, AWS/Azure, ISTQB certification
