Web Application Developer (Salesforce & .NET)

About the role

CACI is looking for a Web Application Developer focused on Salesforce to join its idt team, which supports next-generation IT solutions for defense, intelligence and federal civilian agencies. The role provides cloud systems delivery support, ensures workflows evolve to meet mission needs, supports cross-application integrations and workflow modernization, and works with internal end users on SaaS and licensed products. The position is full time, regular, with no travel required, and must be worked onsite in Chantilly or Reston, Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Use and extend applications with .NET Framework and C#, and sustain them
• Automate business processes with Salesforce tools such as Workflow, Process Builder and Flow
• Build triggers, components, pages and integrations in the Salesforce development environment
• Work with SaaS and on-prem workflow tools, cross-system integrations and database REST APIs
• Handle administrative tasks such as database support, configuration maintenance, reports and dashboards, and routine workflows
• Run regular internal system audits, prepare for upgrades, and create deployment packages from the CACI DevOps platform to production
• Manage Salesforce data feeds and integrations to cloud-operated platforms, and coordinate new development requests
• Work with the internal user team and the user community to define and document requirements, and assist in training new users

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years with Salesforce.com developer, including debugging existing code bases
• 2+ years with .NET Framework and C#
• Onsite work in Chantilly or Reston, Virginia

Required skills

• Salesforce.com developer skills and strong understanding of Salesforce best practices
• .NET Framework and C#
• Data management, system APIs and integrations, ideally with Salesforce or financial business systems
• Cloud service management and integrations, preferably AWS
• Desired: Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I or II)
