Watch Designer

About the role

Movado Group is seeking a creative Watch Designer to collaborate with the Creative Executive and Design Manager in developing women’s watch collections each season. The role blends fashion‑driven concepts with the brand’s DNA, ensuring high‑quality execution from concept to final product.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with VP Design and the design team to apply seasonal concepts, color palettes, and materials.
• Conceptualize and design watch collections that align with brand DNA and line plans.
• Maintain brand design integrity, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Create accurate spec packs under senior design guidance.
• Provide regular project updates and ensure deadlines are met.
• Use Illustrator and 3D software (Rhino, Alias, SolidWorks) to develop designs.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with brand, merchandising, product development, and design teams.
• Present design concepts to internal partners and build strong relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BFA or equivalent) with 4‑7 years of design experience, including watch design.
• Strong fashion sense and ability to interpret trends.
• Excellent sketching and free‑hand drawing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven.
