Warehouse Trainer & Reporting Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Trainer & Reporting Specialist drives operational excellence by onboarding new hires, standardizing warehouse workflows, and building data‑driven performance reporting. This hybrid role bridges frontline training and operational analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate comprehensive orientation and hands‑on training for new warehouse associates across receiving, picking, and shipping.
• Conduct certified safety training and evaluations for Material Handling Equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks).
• Audit dock workflows, maintain up‑to‑date SOPs, and lead retraining when quality or productivity gaps are identified.
• Build and execute multi‑skill cross‑training matrices to ensure operational flexibility during peak seasons.
• Compile, generate, and distribute daily and weekly performance reports covering key warehouse KPIs.
• Synthesize facility data into executive scorecards and presentation decks using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Maintain automated spreadsheets, graphs, and visual dashboards for real‑time status updates on fill rates, overtime trends, and overall performance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Education, or Data Analytics.
• 2–4 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in training, lead, or reporting capacity.
• OSHA‑compliant Forklift/MHE Train‑the‑Trainer certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Required skills

• Proficient Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, dashboard building).
• Microsoft PowerPoint for creating training decks and visual management boards.
