Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Martin Brower is hiring a full-time Warehouse Supervisor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to run a fast-paced, 24/7 distribution center. The schedule must be flexible to support round-the-clock operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily manpower requirements for the current day and week, keeping overtime to a minimum
• Run daily shift meetings, sharing safety and operational messages, taking suggestions and answering questions
• Assign daily work duties to warehouse workers so safety, service, productivity and reliability are met
• Manage work flows efficiently
• Train, support and direct employees so they follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability and equipment
• Carry out other projects or duties as assigned

Required profile

• Associate's degree with 3 to 5+ years of warehouse experience and 0 to 1+ years of people leadership experience, or a high school diploma and 5+ years of warehouse experience with 2 to 3+ years of people leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
