About the role
This senior leadership position is responsible for building and scaling a national Sales Enablement Center of Excellence across a multi‑brand commercial services portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, the VP will define best‑in‑class sales execution and translate it into repeatable systems, playbooks, and training programs that drive consistent revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Design, launch, and lead a national Sales Enablement Center of Excellence.
- Develop and codify sales playbooks, SOPs, and execution standards for outbound prospecting, account management, and revenue expansion.
- Establish benchmarks, KPIs, and performance frameworks to improve pipeline management, conversion, and customer retention.
- Build and scale a Sales Academy covering onboarding, certification, and ongoing development for sales teams and leaders.
- Deliver hands‑on training, coaching, ride‑alongs, call reviews, and live enablement sessions in the field.
- Partner with brand presidents and general managers on hiring, structuring, and developing outbound sales teams.
- Advise on sales organization design, compensation structures, and performance management.
- Create dashboards, reporting systems, and feedback loops to turn field activity into actionable insights.
- Drive adoption of CRM tools and structured sales methodologies.
- Foster a national community of sales professionals for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in sales and sales leadership within commercial field services or industrial services (e.g., HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety).
- Proven success in outbound prospecting, service/maintenance agreement sales, and account growth.
- 3+ years of experience building, leading, and scaling outbound sales or business development teams.
- Strong strategic partnership skills with senior leaders and ability to influence through data and field insights.
