VP of Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned VP of Cybersecurity to shape and lead the security strategy for a forward‑thinking organization. This executive position will drive risk management, threat protection, and security governance across all technology domains.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Lead information security functions including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
• Establish and oversee security governance, policies, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC2).
• Protect systems, networks, data, and digital assets across the enterprise.
• Oversee security operations (SOC), vulnerability management, and penetration testing programs.
• Partner with IT, engineering, and business leaders to embed security into initiatives.
• Manage cyber risk assessments, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing cybersecurity team.
• Provide executive‑level reporting on security posture and emerging threats.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• 5+ years in senior or executive leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in enterprise security architecture, risk management, and incident response.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS.
• Background in cloud, network, and application security.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and executive presence.
