VP Corporate Controller

About the role

The company is seeking a Vice President Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations across its manufacturing facilities. This senior position will be pivotal in building the financial infrastructure needed for a potential public offering.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all accounting functions, including general ledger, AR, AP, payroll, cash management, and financial statement preparation.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP compliance.
• Oversee external audit and tax relationships, ensuring transparent external reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support the CFO and business leaders.
• Lead a large accounting team (15+), fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Drive implementation and optimization of ERP and other finance systems.
• Monitor industry trends, technology, and regulatory changes to keep the finance function best‑in‑class.

Required profile

• CPA certification and experience at a Big 4 firm.
• Proven controller‑level experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with private‑equity‑backed or publicly listed companies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams.

Required skills

• ERP systems implementation and management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
