VP Controller – Remote (US)

About the role

Reporting directly to the CFO, the VP Controller will lead the accounting function through a period of rapid growth and transformation. This senior position focuses on building robust financial controls, driving process improvements, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the accounting team and oversee all financial reporting, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
• Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accountability.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls and compliance frameworks.
• Manage multi‑entity accounting, capital‑intensive or project‑based environments.
• Drive ERP implementations and accounting transformation projects.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Previous roles such as Controller, VP Controller, Head of Accounting, or VP Finance.
• Proven experience leading teams in high‑growth or complex business settings.
• Strong background in financial reporting, controls, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Demonstrated success improving accounting processes and driving change.
• ERP experience is required; CPA preferred but not mandatory.
