About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Volunteer Specialist to support its mission of responding to humanitarian crises. Working under the Community Relations Manager, you will help identify and coordinate volunteer, intern, mentor, and AmeriCorps opportunities across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with IRC staff to assess and define volunteer, intern, mentor, and AmeriCorps needs.
- Support the planning and implementation of volunteer programs in alignment with IRC’s humanitarian objectives.
Required profile
- Ability to work under the direction of the Community Relations Manager.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with internal teams.
