Visual Merchandiser – Retail Store

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser will shape the in‑store experience by aligning product presentation with brand guidelines and customer expectations. Working closely with the Commercial and Operational Managers, you will drive sales through compelling visual displays and effective product placement.

Key responsibilities

• Merchandise the store according to company standards and promote new product lines.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to generate creative visual concepts.
• Utilise store furniture, mannequins and digital devices to enhance the shopping environment.
• Monitor fashion trends, competitor activity and daily sales data to adjust visual strategies.
• Plan and execute visual and commercial activities on a daily, weekly and seasonal basis.
• Maintain product levels, oversee warehouse and ordering procedures, and generate reports for senior management.
• Support training and development of commercial staff and new starters.
• Ensure store housekeeping, safety standards and high‑level customer service.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in fashion retail, preferably in visual merchandising.
• Strong team‑management abilities and a creative eye for visual presentation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data.
• Flexible availability, customer‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, lead by example and motivate staff.
