Visual Commercial – Retail Merchandising Specialist

About the role

The Visual Commercial is responsible for executing Zara's commercial strategy while ensuring the store’s visual image aligns with the brand and local customer profile. You will stay informed on fashion trends, competitor activity, and product performance to drive sales and enhance the shopper experience.

Key responsibilities

• Implement all commercial strategies defined by the company.
• Monitor market news, plan store/warehouse rotations, and optimise product placement.
• Match store space with product assortment and support stockroom replenishment.
• Analyse product gaps, competition and trends to recommend actions.
• Conduct commercial analysis (sales reports, business maps, team communications) to improve performance.
• Maintain merchandising standards to ensure a high‑level customer experience.
• Provide continuous feedback to the Section Manager and collaborate with store teams.
• Train and develop the sales team on commercial best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and occupational risk regulations.
• Assist with returns authorisation, transaction support and other store tasks as needed.
