Virtual Attorney – Personal Injury (Bilingual)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Virtual Attorney to join a New York‑based law firm and support personal injury cases remotely. The role involves conducting client intake, tracking treatment progress, and keeping clients informed in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client intake interviews and collect comprehensive case information.
• Communicate treatment status and case updates to clients in English and Spanish.
• Monitor and follow up on clients' medical treatment progress, ensuring timely documentation.
• Coordinate with medical providers to obtain records and status updates.
• Maintain accurate case files in the firm’s legal case management system.
• Liaise with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on active matters.
• Assist with administrative workflows and documentation related to cases.
• Track work time using Hubstaff.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience handling personal injury cases in a U.S. law firm or legal services company.
• Prior experience with New York personal injury matters.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Experience with legal case management software such as CloudLex, Filevine, Clio, or Litify.
• Familiarity with time‑tracking tools like Hubstaff.
