Vineyard Equipment Operator II – Sonoma

About the role

The Vineyard Equipment Operator II supports daily vineyard operations at our Sonoma location, working under the supervision of the Associate Vineyard Manager. This hands‑on role ensures that all mechanical tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with our sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate vineyard tractors, forklifts, bobcats, backhoes, loaders and other heavy equipment.
• Run over‑the‑row machinery for harvesting, multi‑row spraying, pruning and mowing.
• Inspect equipment daily, report maintenance needs and perform routine repairs.
• Calibrate spray tanks, nozzles and adjust implements such as disks and roto‑tillers.
• Apply plant sprays following safety procedures and document usage.
• Operate ATVs, utility vehicles, weed eaters and backpack sprayers.
• Perform light irrigation tasks, including line checks, filter cleaning and leak repairs.
• Assist with specialized vineyard duties like pruning, tying, shoot thinning, hand harvest and trellis repair.
• Support CBI sustainability programs and adhere to all safety policies.
