Vice President, Pharmacy

About the role

Plenful is seeking a Vice President of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy strategy and solutions. The role partners closely with Sales, Product, and Customer teams and serves as a trusted advisor to pharmacy executives across the United States, helping them understand how Plenful’s AI‑driven platform supports 340B and intake/prior‑authorization workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the pharmacy domain expert in enterprise sales meetings, supporting complex deals with large health systems and pharmacy organizations.
• Lead or support conversations focused on 340B operations and intake/prior‑authorization workflows.
• Provide value to pharmacy executives by articulating operational realities, regulatory considerations, and workflow pain points.
• Collaborate with Sales to shape deal strategy, answer detailed pharmacy‑specific questions, and accelerate late‑stage deals.
• Partner with the SVP of Pharmacy on strategy and prioritization of new offerings and solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in pharmacy operations or pharmacy consulting, preferably within large health systems or enterprise healthcare organizations.
• 4+ years of pharmacy leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in 340B programs and/or intake and authorization workflows.
• Proven ability to engage credibly with Directors of Pharmacy, VPs, and Chief Pharmacy Officers.
• Exceptional communication skills and comfort presenting to executive audiences.
• Experience across multiple sites of care such as specialty pharmacy and hospital pharmacy.
