About the role

The client seeks a dynamic Vice President of Transportation Operations to lead and scale their transportation function during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape strategy, drive profitability, and ensure seamless service delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for transportation operations.
• Own profit and loss (P&L) accountability and drive financial performance.
• Oversee project implementation and operational initiatives.
• Create, refine, and enforce customer service policies and standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operational goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in P&L and transportation management.
• Strong background in project management and strategic planning.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with a track record of policy development.
• Exceptional leadership, team‑building, and communication abilities.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and a data‑driven mindset.
• Experience in logistics or transportation industries is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
