Vice President of Supply Chain

About the role

The client, a fast‑growing 3PL logistics platform, is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to own supply chain performance and the fulfillment P&L across its multi‑site warehouse network in California and New York. This is a build‑out role for a leader who can create structure in a complex, non‑standardized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive supply chain performance and manage the fulfillment profit‑and‑loss across all warehouse locations.
• Standardize operations, processes, and KPIs across a growing network of at least seven sites.
• Improve labor efficiency, cost‑per‑unit, and throughput for high‑volume, non‑uniform product flows.
• Oversee warehouse management systems and guide infrastructure evolution as the network scales.
• Ensure compliance with state‑level tracking and regulatory requirements for every unit handled.
• Build and develop a multi‑site leadership team capable of operating at scale.

Required profile

• 15+ years of logistics and supply chain experience with a proven track record in multi‑site operations.
• Background in regulated logistics environments such as cosmetics, CPG, or reverse fulfillment.
• Builder mindset – comfortable creating structure and processes from the ground up.
• Deep fluency in operational and labor efficiency metrics (cost per unit, throughput, KPI design and tracking).
• Experience evaluating and evolving Warehouse Management Systems.
