Vice President of Supply Chain

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing third‑party logistics platform operating across California and New York, is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain. Reporting to the President and executive leadership, the VP will own supply chain performance and the fulfillment P&L for a network of seven warehouses handling a highly diverse product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Drive supply chain performance and profitability across all warehouse locations.
• Standardize operations, processes and KPIs across a multi‑site network.
• Improve labor efficiency, cost‑per‑unit and throughput for high‑volume, non‑uniform product flows.
• Oversee warehouse management systems and guide technology evolution as the network scales.
• Ensure compliance with state‑level tracking and regulatory requirements for every unit handled.
• Build and develop a multi‑site leadership team capable of operating at scale.

Required profile

• 15+ years of logistics and supply chain experience, including multi‑site operations.
• Background in regulated logistics environments such as cosmetics, CPG or reverse fulfillment.
• Proven ability to create structure and processes from the ground up in complex, non‑standardized settings.
• Deep fluency in operational and labor efficiency metrics (cost per unit, throughput, KPI design).
• Comfort with ambiguity and a builder’s mindset rather than reliance on existing playbooks.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) implementation and evaluation.
