Vice President of Quality (North America)

About the role

The Vice President of Quality leads Rolls‑Royce’s North America Quality organization, overseeing Production Quality, Reliability Engineering and Emission Certification across U.S. sites. This senior executive defines the regional quality and product compliance strategy, aligning it with customer expectations, regulatory requirements and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the North America Quality organization, including Production Quality at Aiken, SC and Mankato, MN, Reliability Engineering and Emission Certification.
• Define and execute a quality strategy that supports business goals and continuous‑improvement objectives.
• Establish and maintain global quality standards and processes in line with ISO 9001 and Rolls‑Royce Power Systems requirements.
• Ensure regulatory and product compliance, managing emission requirements across cross‑functional teams.
• Drive quality performance through data analytics, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action systems.
• Resolve quality issues rapidly, including customer‑facing concerns and field performance problems.
• Represent Rolls‑Royce with customers, regulatory bodies and industry authorities on quality and compliance matters.
• Lead talent development, culture of compliance and ethics, and financial stewardship for the function.

Required profile

• Associate degree with 10+ years, Bachelor’s with 8+ years, Master’s with 6+ years, PhD with 3+ years, or 12+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing Operations.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Proven executive leadership in quality organizations with expertise in structured problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
