Vice President of Quality Assurance

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Vice President of Quality Assurance to shape and lead our enterprise-wide quality vision. This remote executive position will drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high customer satisfaction across all products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Continuous Improvement, Compliance, and Quality Operations functions.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing quality leadership team.
• Establish enterprise quality standards, governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive Leadership to embed quality initiatives.
• Define and monitor KPIs to assess quality performance, operational effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive process optimization, quality management system enhancements, and operational excellence projects.
• Oversee internal assessments, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive improvement programs.
• Leverage quality metrics and business insights to identify improvement opportunities.
• Present quality strategies and performance results to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality assurance, quality management, operational excellence, or manufacturing quality.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise‑wide quality organizations and implementing scalable quality frameworks.
