Vice President of Product Development

About the role

OSEA is seeking a strategic and passionate Vice President of Product Development to lead its innovation pipeline. This senior executive will shape the brand’s skincare portfolio, ensuring every launch aligns with OSEA’s commitment to efficacy, sustainability, and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product development and R&D strategy, focusing on pipeline planning and clean‑beauty trends.
• Identify whitespace opportunities, emerging ingredients, and new technologies to differentiate the brand.
• Lead a team of four direct reports, including a Senior Director of R&D, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Build scalable processes and workflows to support a growing product pipeline.
• Oversee formulation development, iteration, and final approvals in partnership with internal chemists and external labs.
• Manage all R&D activities, testing strategies, and validation to substantiate product claims.
• Ensure global regulatory compliance and coordinate with Regulatory and Marketing on claim accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product development teams in the skincare or cosmetics industry.
• Strong track record of taking concepts from ideation through commercialization.
• Deep understanding of clean‑beauty trends, sustainability practices, and scientific advancements.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills and ability to drive alignment across departments.
