Vice President, North America (Retail)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing global retail group, is creating a new Vice President position for North America. Reporting to the Global Retail Director, you will own the full P&L for the US and Canadian store portfolio and drive the expansion of additional retail brands across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the North American business strategy, delivering sales, growth and profitability targets.
• Lead commercial growth through merchandising, localized marketing and superior customer experience.
• Oversee retail operations including store performance, inventory management, labour optimisation and loss prevention.
• Mentor and manage regional and store managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Identify and evaluate new store opportunities, supporting the real‑estate pipeline and launch process.
• Provide market insight to global leadership, representing the North American customer voice.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level, multi‑site retail leadership experience in the North American market.
• Proven track record of expanding and growing an international retail business in the region.
• Strong commercial acumen with deep P&L management experience and data‑driven decision making.
• Hands‑on operator comfortable with execution excellence and process improvement in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Inspirational people leader with ability to build high‑performing teams.
