Vice President, Global Procurement

About the role

TensorWave is seeking a Vice President of Global Procurement to lead and scale its procurement organization during a period of rapid growth. You will own the strategy and execution for sourcing critical hardware and infrastructure, while managing strategic relationships with AMD and its OEM/ODM ecosystem. This senior executive position works closely with cross‑functional teams to align procurement with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategy and execution for sourcing AMD Instinct GPUs, servers, networking equipment, and related infrastructure, including allocation and roadmap negotiations.
• Serve as senior relationship owner with AMD’s commercial, supply‑chain, and product‑roadmap teams and OEM/ODM partners such as Dell, Supermicro, and HPE.
• Partner with data‑center and energy teams to source colocation capacity, power contracts, cooling infrastructure, and long‑lead‑time construction materials.
• Lead negotiations on high‑value agreements, manage supply risk, single‑source exposure, and export‑control considerations.
• Develop category‑management practices across silicon, servers, networking, power/electrical, data‑center construction, software licensing, and logistics.

Required profile

• 10+ years of procurement, supply‑chain, or strategic sourcing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in hyperscale/cloud infrastructure or semiconductors.
• Proven track record negotiating large, multi‑year supply agreements in constrained‑supply environments.
• Deep understanding of GPU/server hardware supply chains, product roadmaps, lead times, and the broader semiconductor ecosystem.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable building cost models, TCO analyses, and supply/demand forecasts.
