Vice President, Global Operations

About the role

The Vice President, Global Operations will lead all aspects of worldwide manufacturing for a market‑leading provider of engineered electrical and infrastructure solutions. Reporting to senior leadership, this executive will design and execute the operational strategy that supports rapid growth across data center, healthcare, automotive and other industrial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the global operations strategy, creating long‑range and annual operating plans that enable scalable, flexible manufacturing.
• Drive manufacturing excellence across multiple sites, standardising processes, improving quality, throughput and responsiveness while supporting custom customer requirements.
• Deliver the annual operating plan, exceeding targets for safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory.
• Champion Lean principles and continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and increase productivity.
• Implement KPI‑driven management systems for data‑based decision‑making.
• Build a resilient, agile global supply chain capable of handling demand variability and supporting growth.

Required profile

• Dynamic, execution‑focused leader with a proven track record scaling complex, multi‑site manufacturing environments.
• Deep understanding of quality, responsiveness, customization and operational excellence in industrial settings.
• Experience developing operational infrastructure, processes and capabilities to support rapid growth.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, product and commercial teams.
