Vice President, GBSC Strategy & Innovation

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President to lead Strategy & Innovation for its Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC). The role translates enterprise priorities into actionable roadmaps, governs transformation portfolios, and ensures coordinated execution across GBSC and partner verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine GBSC strategy, turning enterprise priorities into a clear, actionable roadmap.
• Own portfolio governance, including prioritization, sequencing, and tracking of initiatives aligned to strategic objectives.
• Establish and manage governance forums such as steering committees and portfolio reviews.
• Coordinate transformation efforts across GBSC and partner verticals, identifying dependencies and resolving conflicts.
• Partner with site and regional leaders to align execution with strategic priorities.
• Drive executive operating rhythm, including business reviews, portfolio updates, and strategic reporting.
• Collaborate with PMO, Financial Planning, Data Insights, and other functional teams to ensure effective delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cross‑functional coordination at senior level.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership, business leaders, and key stakeholders.
• Strong track record of translating strategic objectives into actionable plans.
