Valve Assembler - All Shifts

About the role

The Valve Assembler assembles and tests fire‑protection valves in a climate‑controlled manufacturing environment. The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment, and collaboration with engineering and product development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze work orders, blueprints, and shop data to determine required materials.
• Collect, match, and organize parts, files, and serial numbers.
• Assemble valve components and perform visual inspections.
• Test new product parts for the Engineering Department and re‑work valves that fail pressure testing.
• Operate machinery, perform minor repairs, and maintain a clean, safe work area following the 5S program.
• Identify and isolate issues on returned products for the Product Development Department.
• Promote a safe workplace by following all safety rules and reporting hazards.
