Utility Network GIS Consultant, Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a Utility Network GIS Consultant at Manager level to lead consulting, design and implementation of GIS‑based solutions for the Energy Resources and Utilities Enabling Technologies team. The role focuses on leveraging Esri’s ArcGIS suite to analyse, manage and visualise geographic data across sectors such as urban planning, environmental management, natural resource exploration and transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements that design, build, test and deploy GIS applications for work management, asset management and supply chain solutions.
• Own project planning, budgeting, execution and delivery while ensuring quality, timelines and client expectations are met.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages diverse viewpoints and continuous improvement.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to address conflicts, conduct difficult conversations and uphold PwC’s professional and technical standards.
• Identify business opportunities that align with the firm’s strategic objectives and promote technology‑driven innovation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading GIS consulting projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex system interactions.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills, capable of guiding less‑experienced staff.
• Commitment to integrity, authenticity and adherence to professional codes of conduct.

Required skills

• Expertise with Esri’s ArcGIS platform.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing GIS Business Solutions for work management, asset management and supply chain.
• Solid understanding of GIS applications in utility and energy sectors.
