Utility Associate – 3rd Shift

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Utility Associate to work the 3rd shift (9:00 pm‑5:30 am, Monday‑Friday). The role involves filling in for regular workers, handling knives, setting up production lines, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Fill in and perform all tasks in the assigned area when the regular worker is absent.
• Distribute, swap, and collect knives before, during, and after the shift.
• Set up production lines with stands and ice.
• Train and cross‑train new or current associates on required skills.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area around the assigned line.
• Follow all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised, self‑motivate and demonstrate leadership.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Strong work ethic, honesty and moral character.
