USG Growth Lead

About the role

Method Security is seeking a USG Growth Lead to drive engagement with Department of War cyber mission units and acquisition organizations. You will translate mission needs into funded programs, proposals, and operational deployments, working closely with founders, engineers, and cyber operators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an account strategy across DoW cyber mission units and acquisition bodies.
• Identify operational problems that Method can solve and turn them into funded, enduring programs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through capture, proposal development, contract award, and expansion.
• Build trusted relationships with operators, technical experts, senior executives, requirements owners, acquisition professionals, and funding stakeholders.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, executive briefings, and internal coordination to align product capabilities with customer needs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and deployment teams to create demonstrations, acquisition pathways, and operational solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or account management within government or defense sectors.
• Deep understanding of cyber mission requirements and acquisition processes.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Self‑starter with high autonomy, capable of driving initiatives from concept to contract award.
