US Truck Dispatcher

About the role

The US Truck Dispatcher is a full‑time, on‑site position responsible for planning and coordinating daily freight movements across regional and national routes. You will assign loads to drivers and owner‑operators, monitor equipment status, and ensure on‑time pickup and delivery while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily freight movements, assigning loads to drivers and owner‑operators.
• Monitor driver locations, equipment status, and adjust routes as needed.
• Communicate route changes, delays, breakdowns, or weather disruptions promptly.
• Work with load boards and customers to secure freight and negotiate rates within company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records in dispatch and transportation management systems.
• Collaborate with compliance and maintenance teams to support DOT and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in truck dispatching or logistics coordination.
• Strong understanding of U.S. trucking operations, lanes, and equipment types, including heavy haul.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours‑of‑service rules, and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• High reliability, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
