U.S. Tax Manager

About the role

Bitdeer is seeking a highly analytical Tax Manager to lead US tax abatement initiatives and support broader tax compliance. The role combines strategic incentive planning with technical tax analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, apply for, and manage US federal, state, and local tax abatement, exemption, and incentive programs.
• Manage the full lifecycle of abatement applications, including eligibility analysis, documentation, submission, and compliance monitoring.
• Track statutory deadlines, filing requirements, and renewal obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Model financial impact of abatement programs and prepare internal reporting on savings realized.
• Provide advisory support on US tax matters and act as the primary liaison with tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field; CPA/CA certification a plus.
• 5–7 years of tax experience, with at least 4 years focused on US tax abatement, credits, incentives, or property tax.
• Proven experience managing abatement applications and liaising with tax authorities and economic development agencies.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to work with large financial data sets.
