US Service Supervisor

About the role

The US Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, and parking lots.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential community.
• Ability to diagnose defects, complete repairs, and follow safety and code requirements.
• Proven supervisory skills, including inspecting team work and managing vendor performance.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory control, scheduling, and budgeting.
