About the role
R1 RCM Inc. is hiring a US Patient Access Associate I in Appleton. The role supports patient registration through technology, handles incoming patients and visitors, and routes written communications. It is an on-site position with a base pay of $16.00 to $21.10 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Use technology to support patient registration.
- Route written communications as appropriate.
- Communicate with colleagues in person, by telephone and by email using various communication tools.
- Welcome patients and visitors and handle general inquiries.
- Determine work priorities on assigned shifts.
- Help support associates with new procedures and duties.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Patient Access Manager or Team Lead as needed.
Required profile
- No experience required; high school education or equivalent experience will be considered.
- Physical demands include sitting, standing, extended computer usage and walking.
