U.S. Native English AI Trainer & Evaluator (Remote, Contractor)

About the role

This fully remote, hourly contractor position supports AI data and language projects for CNTXT AI. You will help improve large language models by creating high‑quality prompts, annotating data, evaluating model outputs, and ensuring localized content meets cultural and linguistic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and refine prompts and model responses across diverse topics.
• Record clear voice samples when required for multimodal training.
• Label, classify, and structure documents, tables, and other content for training datasets.
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses for accuracy, reasoning quality, coherence, and cultural appropriateness.
• Perform localization quality assurance, checking terminology, tone, units, references, names, and dates for consistency.
• Fact‑check localized content using reliable sources and document corrections clearly.

Required profile

• Native speaker of American English, born and raised in the United States.
• Exceptional editorial judgment regarding register, tone, punctuation, inclusivity, and cultural nuance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot meaning drift, ambiguity, and subtle errors.
• Capability to identify reasoning gaps and methodological errors even when language is fluent.
• Self‑directed, reliable, and able to deliver consistent quality across time zones.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MQM/LQA concepts (severity, category, root‑cause analysis).
• Experience with QA workflows and AI data training, annotation, or evaluation.
