Urgent Care Veterinary Technician

About the role

Join UrgentVet, a state‑of‑the‑art urgent care clinic that bridges daytime practice and emergency services for dogs and cats. As a Veterinary Technician you will provide hands‑on patient care in a fast‑paced, paperless environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform animal handling, patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring for urgent cases such as wounds, ear infections, vomiting, and diarrhea.
• Execute clinical tasks including phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculations.
• Assist with facility maintenance, client education, and euthanasia procedures as needed.

Required profile

• Professional, dependable, and able to communicate positively in a hands‑on setting.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and traveling for on‑site training if hired full‑time.

Required skills

• Animal handling and patient restraint.
• Phlebotomy and catheter placement.
• Laboratory sample analysis and drug calculation.
