Union Porter – Community Maintenance

About the role

The Union Porter ensures the community’s physical environment is clean, safe, and well‑maintained. Working the 2:30 pm–11:30 pm shift, you will support the service team and help preserve the property’s curb appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet droppings.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to policy and verify pool‑gate safety compliance.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate important information.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and handling complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA‑related training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and a respectful attitude toward residents and team members.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• Ability to work independently during evening hours.
