About the role
Georgetown University’s Department of Pharmacology and Physiology is seeking a part‑time Undergraduate Research Assistant to join Dr. Tingting Wang’s laboratory. The role supports basic laboratory research focused on synaptic homeostatic plasticity and offers hands‑on experience in neuroscience, genetics, and molecular biology.
Key responsibilities
- Perform basic laboratory experiments and assist with data collection.
- Maintain and organize lab equipment and supplies.
- Support ongoing projects investigating synaptic plasticity.
- Follow safety and compliance protocols in a hybrid work environment.
- Document experimental procedures and results accurately.
Required profile
- Current undergraduate student (high school diploma completed).
- Strong interest in neuroscience, genetics, or molecular biology.
