Ultrasound Technologist, Full-Time Day Shift

About the role

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is hiring a full-time Ultrasound Technologist for a StaffFlex contract covering 13 weeks. The position works day shifts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7:15-7:30) and pays $65.45 per hour plus differentials, with a stated pay range of $15.00-$130.00.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex imaging studies and assist with a variety of imaging procedures.
• Set up and adjust imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implement safety standards and carry out quality control procedures.
• Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
• Collect and maintain patient treatment records and data, and conduct pre- and post-treatment patient evaluations.
• Maintain supply inventory and restock supplies.
• May be required to maintain quality insurance for ICAEL and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in a related field, high school diploma or equivalent, and a technical/vocational school in a related field.
• 1+ year of technical experience preferred.
• No on-call duty.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, needed before hire.
• OB registry and abdomen registry required; vascular and/or breast registry preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• One of the following certifications: EFM, RDCS-AE, RCS, RDCS-PE, RCCS, UT, RVT, RVS, ARDMS, or CCI, as listed in the original posting.
