Trend & Buying Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Trend & Buying Assistant to support our trend strategy and buying operations. You will help identify emerging fashion trends, manage reporting, and assist cross‑functional teams in making data‑driven product and merchandising decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage trend tracking processes, creating seasonal trend materials after fashion weeks.
• Monitor and analyze runway, market, competitor, and internal data to spot opportunities and risks.
• Support ad‑hoc reporting requests and maintain organized trend resources for the team.
• Assist buyers in sketch reviews, buy meetings, merchandising decks, sales reporting, and seasonal recaps.
• Run and maintain reports for reorder management, product templates, and data tracking.
• Help with purchase order processing, data management, and troubleshooting for department initiatives.
• Maintain clear communication across teams, build relationships with buyers, analysts, and designers, and handle day‑to‑day administrative tasks.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in fashion, merchandising, buying, or a related role.
• Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Passion for fashion trends and the retail landscape.
