Chief of Staff to the CEO

About the role

If you are an operator who can turn a founder’s vague idea into clear action, challenge assumptions when needed, and drive work to completion, this is a rare seat beside the CEO of a fast‑moving consumer‑products business. You will serve as the CEO’s right hand across the company’s highest‑priority initiatives, creating clarity, pushing decisions forward and ensuring important work finishes without the CEO having to chase it.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the CEO’s ideas, conversations, emails and open loops into clear priorities, decisions, owners, deadlines and expected results.
• Independently lead two to three high‑priority strategic initiatives from ambiguity through measurable results across retail, ecommerce, product development, marketing, operations and finance.
• Create clear ownership and follow‑through across senior leaders, pushing stakeholders for commitments, decisions and completed work.
• Build and maintain a disciplined operating view of company priorities, major projects, decisions, risks and next actions, including lightweight dashboards and decision logs.

Required profile

• Experience in a Chief of Staff, strategy and operations, consulting or general management role, preferably working directly with a founder or CEO.
• Proven ability to own ambiguous, commercially meaningful initiatives from idea through execution.
• Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders, asking difficult questions and influencing without formal authority.
• Excellent written communication skills, able to turn complexity into concise decisions and next steps.
• Desire to grow into broader strategic and executive leadership.
