Treasury Manager

About the role

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is looking for a Treasury Manager to build and lead scalable treasury capabilities for its growing public-company, manufacturing and project-development operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role owns liquidity planning, financing execution, bank and treasury systems administration, risk management, tax credit monetization and executive-level treasury reporting. The expected pay range is $130k-$180k per year.

Key responsibilities

• Own cash management and liquidity planning, including a rolling 13-week and integrated 12-month cash forecast, and recommend actions to management
• Support and execute financing transactions such as project finance, tax-credit bridge loans, revolving credit facilities, equipment or asset-backed facilities and government lending programs
• Coordinate financing diligence, models, lender requests, documentation, closing deliverables, borrowing-base reporting and covenant compliance with Legal, Accounting, Tax, Operations and external advisors
• Support capital markets transactions and offerings, maintaining schedules and coordinating workstreams
• Lead enterprise treasury risk management across insurance, supplier concentration, customer credit, counterparty, liquidity and collections risks, with dashboards and escalation protocols
• Manage banking relationships, account structures, signatories, service pricing and controls over account openings and closures
• Administer banking and treasury systems, including user access, payment workflows, approval authorities, fraud prevention and ERP interfaces
• Develop strategies to monetize federal and state tax credits (e.g., Sections 48E and 48C) and conservative excess-cash investment strategies
• Draft treasury policies and procedures, prepare executive, Audit Committee and Board reporting, and partner with Accounting on reconciliations, audit support and disclosures
• Drive process improvements and automation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive treasury, corporate finance, banking, project finance or capital markets experience, including in a public-company setting
• Experience with debt, project finance, revolving credit, bridge loans or capital markets transactions
• Preferred: CTP, CFA, CPA, MBA or similar; experience with government lending programs, clean-energy tax credits, at-the-market equity, treasury systems and high-growth organizations
